How to Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Designing your own engagement rings lets you really make a statement for yourself or the one you love. You can have more than the typical diamond and get something you really want to show off. While customizing your ring has become more common, some customers are still apprehensive when making the leap. The truth is, anyone can design the perfect ring.

The Design Process

Step 1: What Kind of Diamond?

The first factor you need to consider is what kind of diamond or diamonds you would like in your ring. The diamond will be the biggest statement of the piece, so you should be sure you know the look and quality you are looking for. Step 2: The Design

Beyond the diamond itself, the style of ring is an individual consideration. If it is for your special someone, consider what her taste and personal style is, including the type of metals that she normally wears. Is she more of a white or yellow gold person? You can look through our ring designs to give you an idea of the look you are going for.

Step 3: Get a Quote

When you have a good idea of the type of diamond and look you would like in your engagement ring, it is time to book a consultation with us and get an idea of what works with your budget.

Step 4: CAD Rendering

Once we have settled on the design and pricing, we will produce a CAD rendering of the ring for your approval. Any changes that you have at this point can be made easily.

Step 5: 3D Model

After the CAD rendering is approved, we will create a 3D model to help you get a realistic idea of what the ring will look like. We will then cast the ring and set the stones that you picked out.

Step 6: All Done!

It can take as little as 7 days to get your ring after it has been approved. Then you can get onto your happily ever after.
